Dr. Decerina Uy
Dr. Decerina Uy, M.D. FAAP, brings over 35 years of unwavering dedication and expertise in pediatric care. Her journey in medicine began at Far Eastern University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology before pursuing Doctorate. Dr. Uy’s passion for pediatric care led her to spend two years volunteering at rural and underprivileged hospitals in the Philippines, setting the foundation for the compassionate approach that has led her to becoming one of the premiere pediatric specialists on Long Island, all these years later!
In 1988, Dr. Uy completed her pediatric residency at East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City, further honing her skills and commitment to child health. Upon moving to the United States, she embarked on another pediatric residency at Flushing Hospital in Queens, NY, where she served as a Pediatric Emergency Room Physician for over a year.
